Children who are four by the 31st August 2025 are eligible to start full time education in Reception in September 2025.  

All admissions to Reception are dealt with by the Local Authority. Admission arrangements can be found on the Northumberland County Council Website. Applications can be made online.

New Hartley has a planned admission number of 30 in each year group. Once a class reaches that number a place can only be granted through the Local Authority appeals process.
