This quote has always resonated with me as I feel it highlights the importance of a resilient and inclusive approach to both teaching and learning.
Every experience, every observation, every interaction is a learning experience. We are all lifelong learners and at New Hartley First School we foster, promote and admire a love of learning. We encourage all of our children to ‘dream big’ and ‘aim high’.
We pride ourselves on our welcoming and nurturing ethos and would highly recommend that any prospective parents or carers come and visit.
We would love to meet you!

This week in nursery we have been learning about sea creatures through the story 'Commotion in the Ocean'.
The children did a fantastic job naming sea animals such as fish, sharks, octopuses, crabs, turtles and whales, and sharing what they already knew about them.
The children also engaged in some hands on play in our messy sea trays, exploring different textures and using their imaginations to create their own underwater worlds. We also got creative and made our very own jellyfish.
It has been lovely to see the children so engaged and excited while learning about life under the sea! ... See MoreSee Less
