Supporting the social, emotional and mental health needs of our SEND pupils post COVID

Assessment of NHS data has shown that rates of referrals to child mental health services are now at record highs. Evidence suggests that those at greatest risk of poor mental health during the pandemic include children with previous mental health or learning difficulties and those at socioeconomic disadvantage (UK Parliament, 2021)

In the first instance, we would always advise that you speak to your child's class teacher, however please see the links below for more inofrmation if you think your child if suffering with mental health issues as a result of the pandemic.
