Who Are We News Letters Events & Activities
We are enthusiastic parents and teachers who have one objective in mind: To raise money to provide the school with funds to pay for extra activities and provide essential equipment for the children.

What do we do? We organise social, family-friendly events throughout the year to raise funds for the school. We are hoping to organise other events solely for parents/carers. So far the events organised have included a Christmas Raffle, a Bingo night, Valentine's disco and 2009 Summer & Christmas Fayres.

What have we achieved? This past year we have raised over £1,500!!! Some of this money was used to pay for a traveling pantomime show at Christmas and to fund transport to sporting events. 2010 the PTFA have paid for the Pantomime again and the Climbing Wall |

How do we do all this? We meet regularly (in the club) to discuss and organise events. Everyone is warmly invited to this so do please come along and find out what we do - we really like to encourage new volunteers to join in. Committee meetings are held generally on Tuesday at 7.00pm at New Hartley Social Club. All parents/carers are welcome to come along to these meetings - you don't have to be on the Committee to participate! Even if you don't want to be a Committee member we always need extra helpers at our events so please do not hesitate to get involved.

Christmas Raffle Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets. The PTFA raised over £200 for school. |

We are still using the Yellow Moon catalogues to raise funds for the PTA. So far the commission from sales for the last academic year has raised £31.78. A big thank you to every one who attended our Bingo Evening We raised a whopping £220.60 towards our climbing wall! Special thanks go to Mr Sturrs our expert Bingo caller, the Staff for their support, The Cookery Club for their gorgeous scones and pastries and all of the members of the PTA for working so hard to produce another fantastic event.
