Our 2010 General Election
Our Year 4 teacher told us about the General Election that the country is having so we decided to have one. Our four candidates battled for the Head Teacher's job for the day. People were nominated and we had to vote for who we would like to be the candidates. We then worked in groups to create posters, booklets and leaflets, to try and persuade people to vote for the candidates. There were speeches followed by voting at our polling station, the results were announced in assembly. Here are some photos of the events:

Our fantastic climbing wall

This year we have had a climbing wall built for us to play on. We are allowed to play on the climbing wall in the morning and afternoon playtimes. The hand and foot holds spell the name of our school.


The different coloured hand and foot holds can tell you which route you can take, the blue route is the hardest.	We have to climb around the corner, this is very very hard.

Each class has a go every week.	This part is called the hangover it is very hard to hang onto.

Christmas Toy Fair

This was the Christmas Toy fair held by Year 4 on the 20th November. All the children in the school brought in some toys for the rest of the school to buy. The money we raised went to Children In Need, we raised £254.36 all together.


The car stall before anything was bought, the stall was empty at the end.	We had so many books we needed an extra stall and when we bought a book we got another free!

On this stall we sold small things like animals and action figures, we didn't manage to sell them all.	This is the games stall, we sold puzzles and board games. All the games were sold.
