Our fantastic climbing wall

This year we have had a climbing wall built for us to play on.  We are allowed to play on the climbing wall in the morning and afternoon playtimes.   The hand and foot holds spell the name of our school.

The different coloured hand and foot holds can

tell you which route you can take, the blue

route is the hardest.

We have to climb around the corner, this is very very hard.

Each class has a go every week.

This part is called the hangover it is very hard to hang onto.

Christmas Toy Fair

This was the  Christmas Toy fair held by Year 4 on the 20th November.  All the children in the school brought in some toys for the rest of the school to buy.  The money we raised went to Children In Need, we raised £254.36 all together.

The car stall before anything was bought, the stall was empty at the end. We had so many books we needed an extra stall and when we bought a book we got another free!

On this stall we sold small things like animals

and action figures, we didn't manage to sell them all.

This is the games stall, we sold puzzles and board games. All the games were sold.
Someone buying a game from the game stall. On this stall we sold bits and pieces like costumes and hats.

Notices

For the second year running we have successfully achieved an Activemark.

This is awarded to schools who are doing at least two hours of high quality PE and school sport a week.

Active Kids

Vouchers 2010

Active Kids Voucher Website

(opens new page)

We are once again taking part in the Sainsbury's Active Kids campaign. For every £10 spent in store, on line or at Sainsbury's petrol stations you will be given an Active kids voucher. We would be grateful for as many vouchers you, or friends and family can collect as we benefit greatly. Last year we received new sports equipment for the benefit of all children in school. This year we are hoping to collect enough vouchers to receive more sports equipment and some gardening equipment.

Bicycles and Scooters

We have had a number of minor accidents involving bicycles and scooters. At present we have no facilities for storage. Until we have provision for this could you ensure that bicycles and scooters are not used on school grounds.

Smoking

The school has been a smoke free zone for a number of years. Smoking is not permitted on any part of the school site.
